100 Rubles for a dream
Directed by Ivan ArtemovOn one of the local TV channels, a popular show called "100 Rubles for a Dream" airs. The format is simple: anyone can come and share their dream. Participants try to persuade the studio audience and TV viewers to donate a small amount - just 100 rubles - to help make their dream come true. Over the years, no participant has ever managed to collect a significant amount of money. Some dreams seemed too unrealistic, while others failed to interest the audience. Viewers have come to see the program more as a comedic entertainment show than a genuine platform for achieving goals. But everything changes when a new hero steps onto the stage - a person who turns the entire concept of the program upside down.
