Sam returns to his hometown to reconnect with his childhood friend Kevin and quickly realizes that the relationship has changed. When they miss the bus to a party, a pre-party ensues on the run across the dark and wintry streets. Surrounded by music, drunkenness and cigarette smoke, Sam desperately tries to find his way back to the community he had with Kevin, hoping to retain the last vestiges of his childhood.
