On September 11th 2001, one hundred and eighty-four innocent people lost their lives at the Pentagon. It is a fact that is fading from our collective memory. Today, its not uncommon to find people who dont know that the Pentagon was even a target - let alone the huge number of casualties. Though they helped define a generation, the individual acts of bravery and heroism that took place at the Pentagon are still relatively unknown. Even less widely known is that within an hour of the first attack, officials on the ground at the Pentagon received word that another hijacked flight was headed their way. For some evacuation was not an option. On the 15th Anniversary of the attack, survivors and first responders many for the first time share their raw and vivid recollections of the day that forever changed the world.
