A Second Chance (2018), is a documentary about D-Backs outfielder David Peralta, who was signed out from Venezuela in 2004 as a pitcher by St. Louis Cardinals. David got injured in his left shoulder and he required two major surgeries. In 2009, St. Louis Cardinals, his MLB organization resigned him from his contract. David fought to made it to the majors and after a long shot in independent ball he was able to made his MLB debut in 2014. David Peralta himself, his family, Tony La Russa, Carlos González, Gerardo Parra and other baseball personalities help us to share the story of Peralta and his fight to become one of the Venezuelan players in Major League Baseball.
