AKA Ratings & Reviews
Keith & the Movies
Keith Garlington
(Dalibert) and Lenoir spend a lot of time developing their characters. It's not especially deep, but we get a good sense of everyone's position, perspective, and personality. And it all unfolds with a reasonably satisfying amount of suspense.
Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews
Dennis Schwartz
The gritty action-pic has its moments when it chills, as the hero uses his fighting skills.
Common Sense Media
JK Sooja
The action is well-paced, choreographed, and sequenced, and the story is compelling enough, even though it borrows its ideas from many other thrillers that have come before it.
Polygon
Pete Volk
Worth watching if you're interested in the new wave of French action cinema, and one of its most intriguing stars.

AKA works as an action film, relying heavily on intense violence and unflinching brutality. Where it lacks is the depth of the story and characters, keeping the majority of the players at arm's length and as strangers.
Los Angeles Times
Noel Murray
AKA doesn't add any new wrinkles to the undercover cop genre; but Florent Astolfi's cinematography is suitably moody, Etienne Forget's score provides texture and drive, and Lenoir and Dalibert (who co-wrote the script) keep the conflicts clear.
Decider
John Serba
AKA does action quite well, and drama not as well as it could, and intrigue and suspense not particularly well at all. Yet... it's good enough in performance and direction to satisfy.
But Why Tho?
Jordan Lyon
With good performances from its cast, AKA leads the audience down a violent and bloody two-hour journey. The violence might be too much for some. However, for action lovers, AKA will be a film worth visiting.
