Isabelle dedicates all her time to humanitarian work, helping immigrants, donating clothes, preparing food and teaching French classes to foreigners. One day, when a younger teacher shows up at the same center where she teaches, Isabelle begins to feel outdated. As she becomes involved in a competition with the newbie, she begins to neglect her husband and children, creating other problems to solve besides the misery in the world.
