We start by seeing an actor in a Wehrmacht uniform walking down a leafy lane. He chats to girls in Dutch national dress while the film crew take photographs. After giving a mock Nazi salute the 'German', wearing a Russian type helmet, is seen on sentry duty and arresting a British soldier at gunpoint.
