After a twenty-year career, contemporary art collective BGL (Jasmin Bilodeau, Sébastien Giguère and Nicolas Laverdière) has been entrusted with the realization of three major projects. The challenge is considerable: to produce two monumental works of public art - one in Montreal and the other in Toronto - and to represent Canada at the 56th Venice Biennale. The timing couldn't have been better to turn the camera on the whimsical trio, and at the same time take a retrospective look at a prolific and bewildering body of work. It's a documentary with the feel of a fairy tale, where humor, extravagance, dreaminess and camaraderie are intertwined.
