Blackflies--whether alone or in droves--constantly pester the Canadian folk singer, Wade Hemsworth, during a hot summer in Northern Ontario. Accompanied by the song's rhythmic pace and backup vocals by Anna McGarrigle and Kate McGarrigle, the young surveyor must endure annoying encounters with the notorious flies or accept defeat.
