The "Hamfats" were stranded again. Ye Gods, what would these poor "Hamfats" have done but for Ikey's five-dollar willie, which he gave for Horatio Hillenbuck's coat. That was how they roomed in a room, "no cooking allowed." But what cared they? To the feast, they ran the gauntlet from Shakespeare to East Lynne. No wonder Landlord Friffincuchen shouted "Anarchists."
