The tale of a toy maker who becomes obsessed with a young girl because she bears a resemblance to his late wife, he plots to marry her. Meanwhile, his late wife's aunt is very wealthy and the toy maker schemes to get her fortune, however, the young girl's true love returns and happily events lead up to the true lovers being together.
