Capuchinhos
Directed by Victor LaetLife in the rainforest can go wrong too. Two young women try to find a better internet connection, end up getting lost on Google Maps through China, and fall asleep at night next to their cats. Everyday life gives rise to humor and the great shocks of modern times, revealed in Brazil. Laet, using various techniques of image engagement and transformation-pixelation, frame distortion, abrupt cuts, and many others-manages to disrupt the linear narrative. It seems that the viewer's experience is hindered by the same issue affecting the protagonists: the loss of internet connection.
