Conquest
Directed by Piers HaggardAn idealistic banker in the small town of Conquest, Saskatchewan (pop. 124) tries to make the small town work even though much of its youth has moved away. When a young woman's car breaks down in the town, he convinces her to take charge of the local hardware store in exchange for the cost of the repairs. The result is a light romantic comedy with a message about the state of rural communities.
