When Julie's mother died six years ago on holiday in Brazil, Julie did not make it to the funeral. Therefore, she invites her father to Rio, where Julie's older sister lives. When they are reunited, however, it dawns on her that the others look at grief completely differently. They'd rather go bowling and sing karaoke, and Julie is left alone with her plan for a delayed funeral. A touching and funny story about two very different sisters who love and mourn their mother in their own way.
