Young Evita Duarte is poor but rich in determination to become a celebrity. She acts and dances her way to success, and then she meets influential politician Juan Peron. Now: Evita Peron, the wife of dictator Juan Peron, becomes the First Lady of Argentina and ventures out into political life. Everything seems to go well--until her greed for power and her hatred for the rich ultimately causes her demise.
