Spencer wants to bond with his son, Michael, and is encouraged to join him on a father/son camping trip. Spencer is a writer and thus more apt for the indoors. He faces many challenges with his son, including bullies, jellyfish, and sports. Ultimately, Spencer learns how to relax and have fun.
