A totally exceptional palace: 1,500 rooms, occupied by thirty-four kings and two emperors. The Château de Fontainebleau, permanently occupied from François I to Napoleon III, recounts seven centuries of French history. The monument is described through the story of Charles Percier, a young architect from the end of the 18th century.
