Senhorinha is a black woman who lives in a German colony in the southern Brazil of 1945. In the midst of a dictatorship that persecutes anyone who doesn't speak Portuguese, she tries to survive in the tension between repressive soldiers and marginalized immigrants, since she's one of the few Brazilians in the community who also speaks the colony dialect.
