In the unlikely grand duchy of Certaldo, two swindlers go to the vain grand duke to offer him a deal: to make him a suit of a particular material that only intelligent people who carry out their work wisely will be able to see. Obviously, this fabric does not exist even if everyone will pretend to see it so as not to make a bad impression.
