Vilma, 22, prepares for the Theatre Academy entry exams, like she did last Spring. Striving for her place in the world, she finds herself in a limbo. It is a Monster, that is stuck fast within her. Vilma is scared that nobody wants to see a Monster like hers on stage in Helsinki. Despite the scary Monster, she is getting ready for the exams. We follow her preparations, when she dances, explores, as she sees a psychic, talks to her own reflection in the mirror, and discusses with her friends. In the end, she enters the stage in a reconstructed scene, transforming everything that she finds scary into a devastating living and breathing Monster.
