In Biarritz, while summer crowds flood the coastline and the sun scorches the boardwalks, reinforcements arrive from across France to back up the local police. Among them is Alex, a Parisian cop with a smile that hides more than it reveals. He signed up for this seaside assignment under the pretense of chasing sun and surf-but his real reasons are far less carefree. On the surface, Alex plays the part: the affable guy with a knack for karaoke, the life of the party, always game for a cold drink or a midnight swim. But behind the mirrored shades and easy laughs, something darker lingers-an old case gone cold, or a personal vendetta. Partnered with an assembled unit of voluntary from all corners of the country, Alex is pulled into a murky investigation. What starts as a simple case of fraudulent vacation rentals soon unravels into something far more sinister. As the festive nights blur into tense stakeouts and whispered threats, the summer task force walks a tightrope between cocktails and crime scenes. In this postcard-perfect town, the shadows are long, and the sun can't burn away the secrets buried in the sand.
