This moving documentary is about a father (Heinz Reichwald) and son Fred who dedicate their lives to repairing things. They work in a junkyard where they have restored countless ancient broken machines: tractors, cranes, excavators, airplanes and even ships ships. Their lives offer new dignity to the concept of work for work's sake.
