'Het laatste beeld' is made by Engel Mulder about his grandmother. It captures the final image of his grandmother, not only literally, as seen in the film (where she completes her last task, welding a few small boats), but also the final image of the workshop/home where his grandparents lived and worked for over 50 years. 'Het Laatste Beeld' is about the farewell of his grandmother, from her work, life, home, and everything that comes with life. She leaves her workshop behind without looking back.
