As successive flashbacks unfold, more dark and grisly details of the murders come to light, laced with more embittered philosophies and nuances of truth that lead to a final supernatural revelation that drives Detective Nemo back into his haunted inner sanctum one last time. There he must face the blind eye of Heaven, the hunger of Hell, and the relentless ambiguity of his own humanity, ultimately committing an impossible act upon himself in effort to enter a world of oblivion, where Mr. Blight has slipped between the pixels of reality and now resides.
