A very interesting and spectacular picture showing the enormous hydraulic works on the Adda, a river in Italy. The terrific water force is impressive and the dams and rapids extremely beautiful. A one-span bridge crossing the river, is three hundred and fifty feet above the water level. This is one of the finest examples of engineering in the world.
