Yoji Tone, a day laborer in a band, learns that his father has suddenly died in Atami on his way to work with his beloved guitar. Suspicious of the diagnosis of heart attack, Yoji heads to Atami, but senses that the people involved are being told not to reveal the cause of his father's death by someone.
