A family of mountain farmers, a glider pilot, a meteorologist and a Capuchin priest. They all live in the Urner Reusstal, where the foehn is an integral part of their lives. They are exposed to its power and its pitfalls, but everyone experiences it differently. An atmospheric physicist has been observing this stormy, warm southerly wind for decades – even he cannot fully explain it. Is the homage to a mystery of the Alps.
