After the end of the war, ideology was never hammered into German children's heads as massively as with the young pioneers in the GDR. The new ones should become better people from them. In the GDR's propaganda films, this vision already appears as a lived reality. Children are celebrated in them who carry socialism out into the world with shining eyes and waving flags.
