In Vitro Ratings & Reviews
Heaven of Horror
Karina Adelgaard
For me, any thriller set in the Australian Outback is terrifying in its remote solace. However, IN VITRO still managed to increase the uneasiness I would already have felt by adding a dystopian sci-fi plot to this location.
Tampa Bay Newspapers
Lee Zumpe
For such an inconspicuous production, "In Vitro" is a clever, disturbing sci-fi thriller that invites viewers to ponder the ethical considerations of biotechnology as well as issues of coercive control and domestic abuse.

Frankly, simple - refreshingly so. There's no need for facile, faux-hip junk like Black Mirror when good films like In Vitro are still getting made.
Cinemalogue
Todd Jorgenson
Vividly depicting its bleak rural landscapes, the deliberately paced film overcomes its gimmicky elements with some clever science-fiction twists and reveals.
Mark Reviews Movies
Mark Dujsik
There are rewards to In Vitro that ... make this a richer, more thoughtful experience than it might seem.
Eye for Film
Jennie Kermode
The plot is not the film's strongest point, but it functions well enough as a device through which to explore a troubled relationship.
Morbidly Beautiful
Stephanie Malone
Amid a backdrop of ecological and technological horror, "In Vitro" finds its most haunting terrors in the face of human frailty. A meditative thriller punctuated by a potent, ethically challenging ending that gives audiences plenty to chew on and debate.
AWFJ.org
Nadine Whitney
In Vitro is disturbing and magnificently utilises the odd phantasmagoria of the Australian rural landscape to make an impact.
