Knocking on Heaven's Door
Directed by Ery NzarambaRwanda, 1994. When the president's plane is shot down, the genocide of the Tutsis ensues. Like many others, KESHAVA turns into a killer. Years later, he's among the beneficiaries of an amnesty and released from prison (as a response to overpopulated prisons, and with the aim to encourage reconciliation, the authorities granted amnesty to 'low key' killers who admitted to their guilt). Keshava has only one thing on his mind: to repair.
