The director filmed documentary footage over a period of 15 years and left it unwatched. Forgetting and the distance created by the passing of time opened a new perspective on footage. It became a relic, a waste, a treasure and a burden and in most cases it tells an entirely different story than was intended to record. The hilarious scenes are created by combining the originally unrelated shots and a recreated soundtrack with dubbed dialogue.
