Lavina
Directed by Farzad SamsamiLavina is a 16-year-old Romani girl who lives with her sick grandmother, she has a strained relationship with her father who runs a car wash. She tries as best she can to live up to the Romani life where family responsibilities and cultural values are a way of life. But when Lavina's grandmother dies, she is forced to confront her father with the grimness and lies of the past and for the first time, stand up for herself.
