Claude has been married to Isabelle for seven years. One day, when she deposits a check in her bank, Isabelle is taken hostage by a gangster ready to do anything to obtain a ransom. Her very jealous husband offers to take his place, but the bandit refuses. Claude then thinks that his wife is cheating on him with this man.
