Mahakavi Kalidasu
Directed by Kamalakara Kameshwara RaoUpper-caste Brahman, Kali, is asked to leave his home by his step-mother after she finds out that he has been having an affair with a low-caste woman. The duo are unable to find shelter in their community and travel to a distant land that is ruled by a king and his arrogant daughter. This is where Kali's girlfriend will be hired to sing for the princess, and Kali will be tricked into entering into a competition against the princess.
