Dominique Vandenberg, a young man who dreams of becoming a warrior, trains his whole life for it. After winning many mixed marital arts tournaments, he was poised to become world champion. Hit by a car one night, unable to compete at an elite level he joins the French Foreign Legion. By the time he's 22, he's been a part of and witnessed three genocides. These experiences shattered him, causing him to become a Buddhist and rethink his entire life.
