Directed by Dan Burkey
2012    1h 47mCrime, Drama
Medea, a stranger on the run from her homeland, lives with her two young children on the fringes of a small American town, thanks to Jason, an old lover who owes her his life. Sam, a determined tenderfoot reporter, connects Jason to an unexplained murder case and stumbles upon Medea just as Jason abandons her for the daughter of a successful televangelist. Medea attempts to keep the reporter at bay while she plans a terrible revenge aligned with her mysterious origins. Based on Euripides' tragedy, the film blends the themes of Greek drama with the iconography of film noir.
