Behind the ramparts of the beautiful village of Saint-Paul de Vence, on the Côte d'Azur, the body of a young woman is found in the swimming pool of a luxury hotel. To solve the case, the local police have to cooperate with Captain Marie Jourdan from Lyon, an atypical cop and a hard nut to crack, who won't go easy on the local VIPs. But her behavior soon reveals deeper reasons for her presence.
