In 1911, Arnolphe Combalette left his native Provence to seek his fortune in the Americas. Fifty years later, at his request, his youngest son, the cook Dieudonné, was sent to settle a financial dispute. By the time he arrived, his uncle had died in poverty. Dieudonné would make his fortune in his place thanks to Provençal cuisine.
