The chula circle in devotion to Saint Anthony as a promise of revelation of the sophisticated value system cultivated by men and women from the Bahian district of São Braz, a remnant quilombo area in Santo Amaro e Purificação. From this emerge forms that drive and update the samba de roda, demonstrating that the Recôncavo Baiano is the embryo of more elements than those that constitute samba as we know it nationally, based on the saga of Tia Ciata in Rio de Janeiro. Composer and guitarist Roberto Mendes is a passport to this universe and lends the film its title from the song of the same name, written in partnership with Jorge Portugal.
