Jan Gebski's camera carefully observes the struggles with reality of one of the last living heroines of the Warsaw Uprising. The old lady's closest companion is her cat. Thanks to well-thought-out photos, the animal becomes a full-fledged hero of the film, and we can see what their warm relationship looks like from its perspective. Although humans and cats communicate without words, small gestures reveal the depth of their mutual affection, and everyday rituals take on new meanings.
