Sugandha is the daughter of village Jogtin who beg alms in name of God for living thou she is grown up but spends most of her time playing with village kids.Mohan comes to village for his college vacation and meets Sugandha and both start spending time together Mohan returns to Sangli after his vacation but comes back to the village as he cant get over Sugandha.he finds that she is pregnant with his child and promises to marry her ,but fearing his uncle he leaves the village in mid night.Sugandha and her community comes on streets after their houses are burnt by Deshmukh's men and she passes away giving birth to a daughter Gokula.Years later Gokula performs in Tamasha and comes across Mohan whose now a well known politician and wants to take revenge of her mother.
