The story follows a group of children directly affected by the aftermath of the 1995 sarin gas attack of the Tokyo subway system and deals with the very complex issues of children having to pay for the sins of their parents. This includes sons of the terrorist, a girl born on the day her sister was killed in the attack and believes she has the ability to rewrite fate, and a girl slowly dying as a result of the attack.
