Rigoletto

Rigoletto is a hunchbacked jester at the Duke of Mantua's court. He is plagued by fearful premonitions after meeting the assassin Sparafucile and following a curse being cast on him by the old Count Monterone. Rigoletto's daughter Gilda manage to dispell her father's melancholy. Unknown to Rigoletto, however, Gilda has fallen in love with the Duke of Mantua.
