When 12-year-old Rebecka realizes that her mother does not intend to give up - the class party stays at home in their house - her world collapses. What if they tease him because he sounds weird, or laughs at his waving arms? Rebecka puts her severely disabled little brother Jonathan in hard training but is at the same time tormented by conflicting emotions. Everything looks hopeless till Rebecka meets Charlotte.
