Depicts the story of senior citizen Kurt Ingvar Hellström, a man who devotes his time to collecting cans and scrap metal that he can sell. Sometimes he visits and run errands for lonely people. He rents a house outside Stockholm where he stores the things he finds. However, the neighbors are not as fond of his stuff and manage to get him evicted. But Kurt Ingvar buys a new house cash.
