This film depicts the disputes between two forms of the musical professions. One being purely Classical (Carnatic) and the other being rural folk (Tamil Nadu folk). The story takes on a new turn when a guy and a girl from the opposing camps fall in love with each other showing the egos, hatred and ignorance faced by both groups towards each other.
