"Scavenger Hunt" follows condor biologists in remote Northern Arizona as they uncover the reason behind the decline of North America's largest flying land bird. The issue of lead poisoning from spent ammunition is analyzed from the perspective of the conservationist hunter. It is revealed that lead bullet fragmentation is an important issue for all species of scavengers, and for humans as well.
