A grandfather and granddaughter, with their puppet theater - a mobile home arrive at a town where lives a man, who lives in the attic. He's afraid of children's laughter. The evil man in the attic sets all sorts of traps, steals a donkey, and kidnaps a girl, all to keep the children from laughing at the puppet show.
