Haoxue systematically assassinated the King of Wei's advisors to weaken Wei's strength. Meanwhile, General Wan Kun feigned an assassination attempt on the King of Wei, but in reality, he was using a diversionary tactic to assassinate the Qin king's envoy, thus instigating conflict that would allow Qin to conquer Wei.
