The Alien Next Door
Directed by Yûjirô OzekiBehind a small apartment building in a downtown neighborhood, a spaceship suddenly crashes. When the hatch opens, a completely naked alien steps out, and the residents decide to call him Chu for convenience. Chu ends up living in the room of a young tenant, Unichiro Tadokoro, and the two begin to spend their days together like a makeshift family. Even so, Chu continues to long for a way back home to space.
